Anna lost her first tooth

She's been trying to wiggle the front two out for a week since the dentist said she'll have to give her a needle to remove them if Anna can't wiggle them out since the adult teeth are growing up behind.Tonight while Jeff and I were watching TV, Anna came out and told us she thought it was about to fall out. I gave the tooth a tug or two, and there it was in the tissue! Anna was very, very excited. And Sam, the only other kid still awake, spent the next ten minutes trying to make his teeth fall out.

Jason's top two grown up teeth came in in front of his baby teeth and he DID have to have the baby teeth extracted! SO tell her to keep on wiggling - it's better that way then the dentist way!
Glad she could get one of them out!

Great picture! Her eyes are beautiful--and that gap looks pretty grown-up. Tobias also is very disappointed that he is the only one now that has not lost teeth. (Lydia, with her eight new baby teeth, does not console him.)

In the end Anna did have the second out via the dentist. It was wobbly and the dentist said we could wait another week and try to wiggle it out but I thought to myself, "make another appointment and keep it with four kids in tow? No thanks!" Does this make me a bad mother?
