A few weeks ago Jeff watched Gladiators on TV with the kids watching over his shoulders. It must have made a deeper impression that I thought, because this is what they spent much of today making with their blocks:See that thing on the bridge between Abigail and Joshua? It's a mini-man, a gladiator. In his arms (you can just see his green hands in the picture), he has a big yellow dumbell. To push his opponent off the bridge, in case you've never seen an episode of Gladiators before. Oh dear, oh deary me.
You'd think from the various expressions on my kids faces above that this was all Joshua's idea (well, yes, I believe it was; he is the boy after all). But Anna, my dear, sweet, princess-girl Anna, who only wants to wear pink... well, despite her quixotic look in the first photo, Anna decided gladiators were the way to go soon as well, and here she is with her collection:Oh yeah, Anna, you go girl!
(As I choose labels for this post I wonder to myself: do I need a label just called "Lego"? Yes, I think I do.)

HAHAHA!
What creativity!
OK, I can't find your kids ages...how old is your oldest? I am thinking we have similar ages. I have 5, 3, and 1 (hope to have more one day...)
For the record my kids are currently 5, 4, 2 and 1. Abigail will turn 3 later this month.
In case you're wondering, these are the approximate gaps: 14mo, 13 mo, 18mo. We also lost a baby very early in pregnancy between Joshua and Anna, after I slipped down the stairs in our old house.
We've finished having kids now, unless God intervenes. If you want to find out why, you can read my thoughts way back here: http://equipacademy.blogspot.com/2008/01/nicole-from-168-hours-another-christian.html.
